You have one more day to see "Investigations: Finding Questions and Answers through Artmaking," at Woodbourne Library. Ending on Jan. 17, the exhibit features students from Julie Armstrong’s Advanced Placement art studio at Centerville High School. Through practice, experimentation and revision from piece to piece, these artists continue the pursuit of their next best work and answers to their most sincere questions.

The Centerville Art Gallery will feature the work of local artist Tami Beale, who resides in Bellbrook, throughout the month of Jan. The exhibit may be viewed 24 hours a day, at the Centerville Police Department. Tami will host a public reception on Sun., Jan. 5 (4-6pm).

Your child can receive a personalized message from one of Santa’s elves this season!

1. Write a letter to Santa Claus.
2. Include the child’s name and mailing address, so Santa’s elves can respond.
3. Drop the letter in Santa’s Mailbox, located in front of the Centerville Municipal Building, by Dec. 16. Alternatively, kids can bring the letter to the Holiday Skylights event on Dec. 15 (at Cornerstone Park).
4. As long as you’ve included a return address, wait for a response!

Tonight is Sips & Stories Bookclub night at the bookstore at 7:00 PM. It will also be our final bookclub for the year. (We will start back up again in January 2025). This book has sent me on the romance rollercoaster, and I can’t wait to discuss it with everyone!

Welcome to Centerville-Washington Neighbors Magazine!

Introducing Centerville-Washington Neighbors, the community's first and only community-wide magazine designed to bring neighbors together! I am proud to serve as publisher of Centerville-Washington Neighbors, which is produced by Best Version Media, a publisher of 900-plus community magazines across the United States and Canada. A big thanks to the Conboy family for their presence as the magazine's cover feature for the first issue.

Each issue of Centerville-Washington Neighbors will feature a local family on the cover. The magazine showcases positive and engaging content including business profiles, lifestyle stories, articles about destinations and attractions, features about interesting people and places, and a page about Centerville Elks sports.

The full-color monthly magazine is mailed to 3,661 homes in Centerville and Washington Township, and it is the best and most cost-effective way for businesses to reach homeowners in the community through sponsorship branding packages. I will regularly post selected articles from the magazine as well as share posts from sponsors and organizations in Centerville and Washington Township.
