Goes down as just one of the large trees and long in the tree time I’ve done in my climbing career, a boat load of work but spent some good time with my son as my rope man for the last six months, seen a lot of improvement in hIm, proud! Approximately 60” at the stump. 2-man,no hooks from start to finish,Climb on! ❤️🌳

This is where I won my first SCTCC, think we stayed in the same hotel. I remember standing looking at the view and how gratifying it was to be 21 or 22 (don’t remember) and a climbing champion. Good luck to all the climbers and I’m proud to still be able to compete with you! God bless ❤️🌳

Thanks to everybody that helped with the comp, had a good time this weekend competing on Saturday then judging on Sunday ,it was an honor! Thank you! 6th place in the preliminaries ain’t bad considering the level of competition.

18 climbers from the Southern Chapter(8 southern states) competed in preliminary events ,work climb,throw line,arial rescue,footlock,speed climb.their judged on point system then at the end of the day top 3(used to be 5) compete in masters challenge.I was honored to be one of 5 scoring judges on the Masters(privilege) . The winner will be announced tonite at Awards banquet. Scotty Olson from Florida Chapter in the picture. We reminisced about Taylor Ingram. It's a small world.
