Contrary to popular belief, unfortunately Disney does not control the weather! But that doesn’t mean you can’t still have a great time! Follow these tips to survive the rain on your Disney vacation:
🌟DON’T LEAVE: wait times tend to drop during and after the rain in Disney World, even for indoor attractions. I walked right on Tron during after my virtual queue was called after this rain storm.
🌟Be prepared, it rains a lot in central Florida! Keep a poncho and a fresh pair of dry socks in your park bag (also comes in handy for wet rides like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure)
🌟Buy a Poncho: two birds with one stone here! Buy a Disney World souvenir poncho at any gift shop, they typically will be available at the registers🌟Be aware of closures: if there is lightning in the area, outdoor attractions will close. This could be a great time to shop, eat or take in one of the amazing shows on Disney property.

You need to see the Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World at least once!
Pro-tip-catch it in Frontierland instead of the castle hub or Main Street U.S.A for a better view!
