Please note an important travel update regarding the United Kingdom that will affect you.

Starting January 8, 2025, all travelers transiting through the UK must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA).

KEY DETAILS:

• Who Needs It: All guests changing planes or airports in the UK.

• Cost: £10 (approx. $12 USD/$17 CAD)

• Processing Time: About 3 business days

• Application Deadline: At least 3 days before departure

HOW TO APPLY:

1. Download the UK ETA app from the App Store or Google Play, or apply online if needed.

2. You must have a passport, email access, and a credit/debit card ready.

IMPORTANT REMINDER

You need to secure your ETA promptly to avoid denied boarding and ensure a smooth start to their river cruise adventure.

The Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família, otherwise known as Sagrada Família, is a church under construction in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It is the largest unfinished Catholic church in the world. Designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926), in 2005 his work on Sagrada Família was added to an existing (1984) UNESCO World Heritage Site, “Works of Antoni Gaudí”. On November 7, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI consecrated the church and proclaimed it a minor basilica.

Did you know that in Barcelona the tiles can help you identify which neighborhood you are walking through. The anot ( transl. flagstone) is a type of outdoor cement tile and the associated paving style, both found in Barcelona. Panot tiles are usually small and square, and feature graphic designs pertaining to the neighbourhoods of the city which they pave. The panot tiles designed by Antoni Gaudí are hexagonal.
