Custer State Park South Dakota
It was really great fun riding this stretch of road to make this video, but very frustrating editing it down to a short clip, as I'm not very good at doing it. It was a shame I didn't come across any wild life this time, previous rides along here I've seen Buffalo and herds of wild horses. The video doesn't do justice to how tight some of the 180 degree turns are,from the odd glimpse of my speedo you can see it was not a road that you can build much speed up on.
Red Boys Singing and Drum group
Well Cherokee lived up to all our expectations, an amazing spectacle of color and culture, and the riding was pretty good as well. I'd like to thank the members of Red Boys from Minnesota and Fox Trail from Iowa, for helping us to understand a little better how their singing and drum groups are judged in competition. I'd also like to thank the presenters of the Cherokee Storytelling for an entertaining evening and for answering our questions about the different dances and how the are judged at the Pow Wow.
The low cloud from the threat of rain, gave the Great Smokey Mountains a real identity. We will be back next year, accompanied by a few of you, hopefully, if you like the tour we have put together for your enjoyment.
