As Father’s Day 2024 rolls around on June 16, now is the perfect time to start planning the ultimate getaway for future trips with your dad. Here are a few ideas to get started:

Fishing enthusiast: Deep Sea Fishing in Costa Rica…marlin, sailfish, mahi, tuna and more. This trip can be done from the marinas in Quepos or Los Suenos, do a ½ day of inshore and a full day of offshore. Adding a day to hike in the rainforest and another to explore the wildlife in Manual Antonio national park and its gorgeous beaches would make a fun trip for families or a group of anglers. 🐬🙉

Band of Brothers history buff: An epic journey from Normandy to Hitler's Eagle's Nest via the battlefields of the Battle of the Bulge in the footsteps of the famous Easy Company. This can be broken down into smaller sections for shorter trips. We crafted a solo itinerary to explore just the Belgium/Luxembourg sites by adding 2 days to a business trip for an unforgettable experience. 🏞️💔

Bourbon lover: Hit the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, starting in either Lexington or Louisville, there's something for everyone— distillery tours and tastings, culinary experiences such as a progressive dinner or a seat at the Bluegrass Chefs Kitchen Theatre, and of course a trip to Kentucky is incomplete without exploring horse country farms and the racetracks at Churchill Downs and Keeneland. This would make a fun trip for dads and adult children, couples, and friend groups. 🥃🐎

Recap of Saint Lucia! We stayed in two amazing villas, dividing our time between the north and south ends of this gorgeous island. Rather than renting a car and dealing with navigating the twisty and "bone shaker" roads, we opted for a private driver and it was such a treat! The cost came in under a rental car and they took us wherever we wanted to go and we learned tons about the island from our drivers!

We loved the sheer beauty, the kind people, and enjoyed hiking, waterfalls, botanical gardens, scuba diving, snorkeling, and sailing. Favorite meal for the girls was eating dinner at a working cacao farm - our server was patient with Joe who doesn't like chocolate!
