Did you know...? Keanu Reeves

While filming The Lake House, Keanu overheard a conversation between two costume assistants. One of them was crying because she was going to lose her house unless she paid $20,000. Without saying a word, he deposited the amount into her account.

On his birthday in 2010, he went to a bakery alone and bought a cupcake with a single candle. He sat outside to eat it and offered free coffee and pastries to all the customers. That was his "luxury" birthday celebration.

From the earnings of the Matrix trilogy, he gave away $50 million to the special effects team, stating they were the real heroes of the films.

Keanu rarely used stunt doubles, except for very specific scenes involving extreme stunts. To acknowledge their work, he gifted each of his stunt doubles a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

To this day, he regularly uses public transportation like the subway and buses when needed, because he finds it practical and has no shame in doing so.

Many hospitals report having received tens of millions of dollars in donations from him.

He donated 90% of his salary for some films so the production could afford to hire other big-name actors.

In 1997, a paparazzi captured him sitting on the street next to a homeless man, listening to his life story and sharing breakfast with him.

All the good things we know about Keanu Reeves haven't come from him, but from the people who benefited from his generosity. He has never boasted about any of it.

Despite everything he has endured, which could have made him bitter or pessimistic, Keanu chose to be a source of goodness in a world filled with negativity.
