Keeping up with my yearly tradition to take one of the kids on a European adventure, I have been busy planning my trip to Paris with Wyatt.

Wyatt just turned 7 and planning a trip through his eyes has been fun. We are currently most excited about Disneyland Paris (obviously!), the Catacombs (the bones of 6 million people- he loves the creepy), summit of the Eiffel Tower, and renting tiny sailboats in the Jardin du Luxembourg.

We will be traveling August 20-25 so don't miss our adventures!

There were a lot of things to love about Beaches Turks and Caicos, but number 1 for me was the beach. The water was so, so clear and aqua blue. We had fun digging for shells, swimming, and building sand castles. I have never seen a beach this beautiful and I can totally see why Grace Bay Beach is consistently rated as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

We had so much fun on our trip to Beaches Turks and Caicos that we came home and booked another trip for 2026 to the Beaches Negril!! Handy fact that if you book your Beaches or Sandals vacation on site during your trip or within a week of returning home you get up to a 12% discount! My brother and his wife are celebrating 20 YEARS of marriage at Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia this week. I remember the day they got married...I had just passed my driver's test and driving to get my hair done for the wedding was my first solo driving outing! They are such an awesome couple and deserve the best week!! Such an awesome time of year to escape to beautiful water, beach, and warm, warm, weather!! 😍🥰😍

Less than a month until our big trip to Beaches Turks and Caicos!! I cannot wait!!!

One of the things I'm most excited about is our room. We are going to be staying in the Italian Village. Everything in the Italian Village has an Italian flavor, from the fountains and statues to the cuisine. It’s like staying on the Italian Riviera, but with a decidedly Caribbean twist...yes, please!!

We are staying in the Italian Poolside Walkout Concierge Family Suite with Kids Room. The kids room is super cute. It includes a main bedroom with a king bed and a kids’ room with bunk beds. There’s one large bathroom, as well as a sink and mirror in the kids’ room.

My boys usually like to sleep curled up next to me...while I cling to the side of the bed. BUT this kids room might be cool enough for them to stay in their own beds for this trip!!

If you're an Outlander fan, taking an Outlander tour in Scotland is a dream. Well to be fair, Scotland is a dream for many reasons but Outlander certainly adds to it!

We will be traveling to Orlando in March this year for our Skye's the Limit Vacations agency trip. I'm super excited both because our team has expanded and we will have time to spend together and because I have never been to Universal Studios!!

After my trip with Zoey, I had the idea to plan a long weekend trip once a year and take turns taking one of the kids with me to explore a new city or place in Europe.

In 2024, I'm planning a trip with Wyatt to Paris. Paris is a close second for the most requested travel planning destination for me. I like the idea of planning ahead because I can do all kinds of things with Wyatt to prepare. We've been looking at maps, downloaded DuoLingo to practice learning some French, and doing our research. I want to do a Christmas market comparison journey around the same time of year each time.

I was actually in Paris in the winter of 2008 and it was beautiful. From mid-November, Paris is decked out in her Christmas finery. Trees are draped with twinkling lights and colourful decorations are strung across the streets and when I was there it snowed!

It's never too early or too late. And you're never too young (or old!) to start dreaming.

I've heard all the amazing things about Beaches Turks and Caicos ever since I became a travel advisor.

The blue water, the amenities for the kids, pools, food...everything looks amazing and everyone I met raved about it. Well, I'll be able to give you a first hand look at this amazing resort because...in 37 DAYS we will be there!!!!

We are staying in the Italian Village two bedroom suite that opens out onto the pool!! The kids bunk room is so cute. I can't waiittttt!! End of January is the perfect time for a winter getaway!!

A few more random Christmasy photos of London and our trip home! We made a stop at Harrod's before taking a black cab home for the night. Handy info about a black cab is the back is large enough you can just walk your stroller in--no having to fold that bad boy up!

I used a private transfer booked through Viator to get to the airport for our return trip. He was on time and it was a super easy trip. Takes about 45 minutes driving from central London to Heathrow (without traffic).

We flew KLM home through Amsterdam. KLM's bassinet situation was comfier than on Virgin and Zoey made a friend!
