When you travel, do you ever feel like you just are going so fast you're never able to catch your breath, to say nothing of pulling out a journal?

Not to fret, my pet. Not only are you receiving a gorgeous Illuminated Journey travel journal complete with marvelous art supplies, but you'll have several hours each day of down time to do whatever makes you most happy. If journaling is on that list, so much the better!

(Psst! We'll also have optional time woven in to the schedule to play in our journals together. There might even be flamingo-themed washi tape, just for fun!)

What a sublime treat it is to get to work on a project with someone who you love and respect AND who is simultaneously across an ocean from you? (I still marvel at the magic of FaceTime.)

Did you even know that National Croissant Day was a thing?!?!?

Wild Thyme won't be in France on this particular day to see how the French observe it, although we suspect that EVERY day Croissant Day in France, but you could pop out to your favorite bakery in festive solidarity.

The thing I can tell you about croissants in France is this: they are a staple in every bakery (which are practically on every corner)) and they are flaky and buttery and nourish the soul as much as the body.

AND both of our hotels serve them up fresh EVERY SINGLE MORNING, so you can make up for all the croissants you haven't eaten since you (most likely) don't live in France.
