Heading out of office one more time before the summer ends!

🦒🚢 This time, I'm headed to Florida for one night at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge before boarding the Disney Fantasy for a cruise with the whole family! We are looking forward to spending this time together as a family before the new school year begins. ☀️

⛱ I will not be working while on this trip, so if you have an outstanding quote, let's get that locked down by Thursday! To my clients who will be traveling, you'll be receiving an email with the contact info for two of my rock star colleagues who are here to help with any hiccups along the way. 💕

Day 4 in Jamaica also included a tour of Couples Negril. Personally, this is the resort that is most my vibe! It’s a smaller footprint, but still had a beautiful beach, amazing pools, and their activities are right up my alley (they had TV show trivia the day we toured!) The suite there is 😍😍😍 with a hammock on the patio!

Jamaica Day 4! On our final full day in Jamaica, we had a busy schedule! First up, we toured more of Couples Swept Away, including the spa and fitness center! They have a lap pool in this area, as well an outdoor gym, fitness classes, and a beautiful spa area. We were able to see many different room categories and gathering areas, including the piano bar (where we also ended the night)!

Jamaica Day 3! We started the day with a drive from Ocho Rios to Negril, where we stayed at Couples Swept Away for the remainder of our trip. It was a long ride, but we saw a lot of beautiful resorts, some cruise ships, and local villages along the way. When we checked in, I was blown away by the beauty of this resort! I felt like we were in a jungle! Our room was gorgeous and gave treehouse vibes with the wall of windows and wood shutters. The view from our balcony was a beautiful pond and fountain, with the beach and ocean in the background. This resort is more spread out than the others, but our building was close to some of the restaurants the swim up bar and grill, which did not disappoint!

Day 2 continued…

After our resort tours, I was able to spend some time with Ian and everyone else at the swim up bar, and we had a delicious meal at Eight Rivers, which was the most amazing meal we had at Tower Isle! Following dinner, we hung out at the piano bar for the sing along! It was a great time!

Day 2 of our Jamaican vacation! Tuesday I spent the morning touring more of Couples Tower Isle and we also visited Couples San Souci! This resort was drop dead gorgeous, giving major Saint Lucia vibes! Part of the resort is built into the mountains so there are more stairs than the other resorts, but its beauty is unmatched. The spa services here are unbelievable- who doesn’t want a couples massage in this cabana over the water?!? There’s also a natural waterfall and mineral grotto said to have healing powers! Dying to stay here on our next visit to this side of the island!

If you’re looking for a spa vacation, Couples Tower Isle is PERFECT for you! These spa villas are the most romantic spaces, with a private pool, in a seuded area of the resort, and include unlimited spa treatments! This is the most perfect way to pamper yourself and your significant other!

Day 1 of our trip to Jamaica to see the Couples Resorts… We were up bright and early to drive to Newark (the flights were much cheaper than from Philly). Ian was excited to see some Devils merch in the airport!

Our flight was delayed, but when we arrived in Jamaica, we were greeted by a representative from Club Mobay who escorted us through customs and to their lounge. We were only there for about 5 minutes before our shuttle was ready to go, so I forgot to snap a photo!

After the drive to Couples Tower Isle, we were able to get right into our room, which had a beautiful view of the pool and ocean! We had lunch at the grill (I had a Jerk Hot Dog!) and walked around for a bit before meeting the group for dinner. The food was so delicious!

Fun fact! This resort was the first all inclusive resort in Jamaica and they work hard to preserve the history of Jamaica into everything in this resort. The floors are original from 1949- Walt Disney walked on these very floors!!!

Just another reason to use a travel agent...

⛈While Hurricane Beryl ripped through Jamaica and Mexico, many people were forced to change travel plans, questioning whether or not to cancel upcoming vacations, and some had their flights home canceled and were stuck in the path of a massive storm.

🌤When you book with me, have faith that I will be here to help you figure out a plan B, assist with executing that plan if needed, or helping you come to the decision if you need to delay or cancel a trip.

While I was fortunate to not have any clients in the direct path of Beryl (my current clients are in Europe and Aruba right now 😎), I kept in contact with my clients who are leaving tomorrow for a western Caribbean cruise and clients who still plan to arrive Sunday to Cancun. I'm confident that they will have a wonderful time as the storm will be long gone by their arrival times!

Let's hope that Beryl is the worst we see this hurricane season, but the experts are predicting a very busy year. Either way, I'll be here to assist my clients in every aspect of their vacation planning, even when Mother Nature gets in the way.

An important reminder! If you’re traveling out of the country, your passport needs to be valid for 6 months AFTER YOUR RETURN!

Don’t wait until you’re packing your suitcase to check if your international destination requires six months of validity remaining on your passport to enter. Check your destination’s requirements at travel.state.gov/destination and renew now if needed at travel.state.gov/renew.
