Welcome back to ‘Meet Me Monday.’ I hope y’all had an amazing weekend! We went to Home Goods on Saturday, and ended up buying a bunch of stuff that I didn’t actually need - but it was CALLING to me! Basically Home Goods told me what I needed to buy. Did you do any shopping this weekend??
For this week I thought I should introduce you to my family! My oldest daughter, Emma, was married in August. We literally had the BEST time planning. She and her husband went to high school together, but the time was never really “right” for them. Fast forward a few years - they reconnected and sparks flew. They say when you know, you know … well they KNEW! After an amazing engagement in Hawaii, we got to work planning their big day. Yes, that’s right, Hawaii! Talk about dream engagement!
Emma was a dream bride and knew exactly what she wanted. The whole family was involved on their day. My daughter, Lilly, was her maid of honor. My son, Louie, was their usher. My husband, Kurt, was the financer.😉 My mom, Lin, was their officiant. And I, of course, was the guest of honor!
Their day was absolutely amazing, surrounded best people showering them with love! Am I crazy that I wish we could do it all again?? Luckily we still have a couple more weddings to plan! From the proposal to the vows, everything was perfection! Where did you get engaged?
