Moms are great because ...
Happy Mother’s Day to all the hard-working moms! Ms. Rudi, Graduate Intern at TC Scholars, is here with a fun video to inspire children to not only celebrate their mothers with a card, but also by sharing their feelings.
The Science of Handwashing, with Ms. Fran
It’s Science + Yoga with Ms. Fran! Enjoy Ms. Fran's demo of a simple home science experiment that shows the importance of hand washing. Then, relax with a short yoga session.
It’s story time with Ms. Shantal! Enjoy a reading of another great Mo Willem’s book, “Leonardo the Terrible Monster,” with Ms. Shantal, our Prevention Initiative Program Manager.
When she’s not reading fun children’s books, Shantal is still busy working with our Prevention Initiative families. While they cannot see the families in person, she and Paulina are providing virtual home visits and delivering diapers and formula as needed. Let’s give a big thank you to Shantal and Paulina!
Bear Needs Help
Another read aloud to go with our “Helping & Caring” video, Ms. Kristy reads us "Bear Needs Help” by Sarah S. Brannen. Bear has a problem with his shoes. Who will help him?
We Feel Feelings in our Bodies
Kids (and adults) are feeling all kinds of different feelings these days: from scared, to sad, to happy. Watch Mr. Andrew, Graduate Intern at TC Scholars, talk about clues our body gives us to help us recognize our feelings.
Story time with Ms. Kristy, part two! This time, we’ll hear another great Mo Willem’s book: “I will Surprise My Friend,” with Ms. Kristy, our TC Scholars Social Worker.
Stay home & stay healthy. We’ll see you soon!
It’s story time with Ms. Kristy! Enjoy this reading of Mo Willem’s book, “The Pigeon Finds A Hot Dog,” with Ms. Kristy, our TC Scholars Social Worker.
