I just want to take a minute to thank the whole Snowflake Photography crew for all their hard work doing Santa photos at the Festival of Light this year! A big thank you goes to Santa and Mrs. Claus! Santa truly embodies the spirit of Christmas! He shares kindness and cheer and brings out the best in the shyest children and the most uncomfortable teens! Mrs. Claus is always willing to jump into the photos if asked and she has a sweet, gentle spirit as she hands out candy canes to kids of all ages! Another big thank you to Skye, our editor extraordinaire! She has been involved with Santa pictures ever since 2010, our first year at the park and is always finding new ways to help our photos shine! New to the crew this year and also deserving of big thanks are our two order takers and change makers, Holly and James! You guys rock! I love and appreciate you all and truly enjoyed our time together helping our guests make and capture special memories with Santa at this special time of the year!

For the past 13 Christmas seasons, our family has bundled up every weekend from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve and headed to the Chickasha Festival of Light to capture smiles and laughter as everyone from tiny tots to glowing grandparents met and talked to Santa Claus. We have taken millions of pictures that captured all of life's moments. We've seen brand new babies, pregnant mothers promising to bring their newborns back the next year, family photos that included several generations, and even been a part of a few marriage proposals! We have had the time of our lives being part of your family's special moments. Thank you!
Well, last night, we got to be a part of the magic once again. A mother came to us before she brought her children in and told us the magic of Santa was slipping away from her 2 oldest kiddos. She gave us their names and asked if Santa and Mrs. Claus could possibly call them by name. Personally, our Santa and Mrs. Claus have been in my family's life for many decades. We, as a family and as a business, think they are some of the best people around! Let me tell you, when they got this request, they did not disappoint! Getting this message today from the mother of that family, just proved what we knew. We get to be a part of something special every November thru December. We could not be happier with the experience we were able to give this family! Going the extra mile for our customers is part of the joy of our jobs.

This adorable little man's mama ordered an 8 x 10 which is a beautiful photo and has been ordered. The only reason we didn't use this one for the print is because his hands are up and one is in front of his face. But his smile is amazing and we love it! If you know his mama please let her know her little guy's picture is here so she can enjoy this one as well. Merry Christmas, handsome!!

Just a few of the happy faces who came to see Santa this week! Come on out and share your special Christmas wishes with him and capture those special moments to enjoy for years to come! We love to have kids of all ages from birth to 100+! The Santa House is located on the far NE side of the park on California Street and there is parking right off the street near us. Santa is in the building Thursday & Sunday from 6 - 10 pm and Friday & Saturday from 6 - 11 pm. Hope to see you there! P.S. you can ride the train over by the kiddie rides just north of the dam on the west side of the park and it will bring you right by the Santa house!

Even the most mischievous of elves needs a picture with Santa! Come see us tonight on the north end of the Chickasha Festival of Light from 6:00pm-11:00pm! Tell the jolly Ol' Saint Nick your Christmas wishes. When you finish with us, take a ride on a train, a carriage, or a ferris wheel! So much to do and so much fun to have.

Check out the longest parade Chickasha has ever seen! It is going to be a spectacular event! When it's over, head to the Festival of Light and get your pictures taken with THE parade Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Santa House on the north end of the park. 🤶🎅 ( Santa Pictures at the Festival of Light will start a late tonight as Santa and Mrs. Claus make their way to the park from the parade route.)

Just a little over 1 hour left until Santa will be in this chair! He's all ready to hear those Christmas wishes and we are ready to capture those memories in photograph form. 6:00pm-10:00pm! Look for us on the north end of the park. Follow the North Pole! 🎅🤶

***Santa is still delayed*** We are sorry to say that the Santa House is still without electricity and will be closed for (hopefully!) just one more night. Tonight, November 30th, there will be no Santa Pictures at the Festival of Light, but please plan to join us tomorrow, Friday, December 1st from 6-10pm!

Update - we are hoping for Thursday night!! (nothing written in stone yet!)

We are very sorry to say that we are still delayed, waiting for electricity! We have been told we will not be able to start this weekend at all. Please come see us next Thursday, November 30th for our opening night of Santa Pictures at the Festival of Light! Also, we are located on the far north edge of the park this year. There is parking next to us, if you do not want to walk that far out. 😁🎅🤶 Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Good evening, friends of Santa! We have some good news and bad news. Please bear with us! The Festival of Light did get us a Santa House (YAY good news!), but they have been unable to get electricity to the house. We will be unable to open up tonight after all. (BOO bad news!) We are hopeful that they will get this issue resolved by tomorrow evening, but please check here before venturing out if your plan is to visit Ol' Saint Nick. We are so sorry for all the delays this year! They are truly circumstances beyond our control. We have all our jingle bells in a row and are looking forward to sharing this season with you! Hope to see you all soon!

Hello Festival friends! The Santa House has been delayed so sadly, we will not be able to start Santa Pictures until next weekend! We will be ready to capture your smiles and sparkling eyes on Friday, November 24th at 6:00pm.
