Julia Morgan had a significant influence on the On Broadway Estate with her remodel in 1922. She designed the fireplace mantel that still stands today in the main house. These photos were retrieved from CalPolys Special Collections and Archives, and we are honored to share them as we recognize Julia Morgan’s contributions as an incredible architectural designer.

“Getting to have our special day in a place that I got to spend time building with my family was truly amazing. To see my old and new family come together in a place that I am proud to say I was part of creating is incredible. On Broadway was able to accommodate more than our 70 guests comfortably between space for the ceremony, eating arrangements, celebratory gathering, and even lodging! On Broadway was beautifully decorated and the venue gave a great atmosphere for the intimate festivity. We are truly happy with how everything turned out. I wouldn’t just highly recommend on Broadway as your next venue because of my contribution to building the space, but because it truly made our special day feel complete🤍💍”

We are heart broken to hear about the fire at Bidwell Mansion early this morning. Another historic attraction from our community is lost, but never forgotten. Our thoughts go out to our neighbors today as we process this devastating occurrence💔

Hi ✨ I’m Annie, and I’m a day-of coordinator—a role I stumbled into thanks to one of my best friends. Back in December 2021, she asked me to be her day-of coordinator for her wedding. “You’d be perfect for this,” she said. Turns out, our friends sometimes know our career paths better than we do! That moment set me on a journey that I’ve been loving every minute of.

Last September, while coordinating a wedding, I had the pleasure of meeting the owners of the beautiful On Broadway venue. We clicked instantly, and I found myself deeply inspired by their mission to preserve their historic home and share it with others. It was a vision I could get behind—a venue that embraces history while creating a space for people to enjoy some of life’s most special moments. Together, we’ve spent hours dreaming, brainstorming, and refining. So far, we’ve hosted an intimate wedding & other amazing events and it captures everything I love hosting. The venue feels like a haven, perfect for those who want to stay present, laugh, and fully connect with the people they love.

At the core of what I do is the desire to help create moments that allow people to truly live in the present. I thrive on the magic of intimate celebrations, where every detail serves to elevate that feeling of being surrounded by love and joy. It’s all about presence, connection, and shared memories. On Broadway has become the embodiment of that dream, and I’m proud to be part of it.

We wanted to continue the “rose theme” already existing along the fence line, and added in a variety of colorful blooms🌈
