I went back out into the workforce yesterday, for the first time since being laid off due to the pandemic on Friday, March 13th, 2020.
I am also taking an online college course through the American Bus Association to become a Certified Travel Industry Specialist, which I have now completed just about half the course.
I am now more than ever taking care of my family and home...running kids to and from school, as well as watching my granddaughter as needed.
AND...the holidays are fast approaching! Family gatherings, gift shopping, baking and decorating...and oh yeah ...the stress of being in retail biz at the mall during the Christmas season!!!
Today I had a sight awakening, mini-breakdown ...or dare I say epiphany???
I am only one person. I should only take on so much at one time...and that's ok!
I have decided to cancel the December trip to the Bristol Christmas Festival to make time for myself while I undergo all of the above changes lol.
I am working hard on putting together next year's trip booklet which will be available at the beginning of January.
I will have a new website, an actual phone number dedicated to my business and be fully incorporated.
I would still love ideas and recommendations for tours and hope you will all decide to travel with me and New Day Tours in 2022!
