This is one of the perks of being the DOME on the Hill "hostess" AND "cleaning lady" ... whether I have to look for a stuffed animal that's been transported to another bedroom, refill the paper in the pictionary game, return leftover socks & tees to their rightful owner, or clean little handprints off windows... it warms my heart knowing that families & friends are creating memories at our little secluded sanctuary. THIS is why we do what we do. THIS is LOVE. I guess I'll have to clean the window eventually, but haven't had the heart to yet. 😊 ❤️ 🫶👣

We get the BEST GUESTS at our DOME on the Hill! These homemade caramels were waiting for me after my last guests' check-out... and they were SOOOOO YUMMY!!! Lovin' this host-ess thing... ❤️ 🍬 😊

Nature is blooming at the DOME on the Hill! We have blueberries coming on the vines, hostas showing off their beautiful leaves, clematis climbing the trellis, and pretty yellow Lily Leek (aka Allium moly) blooming in the yard. (I had to Google that one!) 😀 I love seeing what each season brings!! 🌞

THE DOME on the Hill loves decorating for special holidays! 🐣 🐰 ✝️ Getting ready for Easter-one of my favorite times of the year-and making it special for family and friends is what we are all about. Seeing the smiles on kids' faces as they notice the complimentary Easter baskets on the counter, grab a brownie and run to chose "their room"...thankful for parents that make Easter break a fond memory for their children while they're young. BEING THE DOME HOSTESS IS THE BEST JOB EVER! 😊

This past year of being the DOME on the Hill "hostess" has been amazing! Its not a "job", it's a "PRIVILEGE" to be able to welcome guests to a place where they can spend quality time with family and friends without the interruptions of every day responsibilities. Our guests are special to us...and as they are all different and come from different places, we want them to feel welcome. Come as guests, and leave as new friends.

DOME on the Hill got a winter makeover this week! We are proud to announce that we have gone from a 5 🌟 4-bedroom, 7-person vacation rental home to a 5-BEDROOM, 9-PERSON vacation rental home!!! "The DOME is such a unique property and made for a truly special weekend getaway for us! Melody is extremely kind and communicative, and the house is very well stocked with everything you might need. There’s tons of space for everyone inside, as well as a stunning yard that was full of fall color and a large patio deck to read, hang out, or just watch the sunset. We will absolutely be back!!"
