Since 2001, the Pony Express Nature Cruise has provided the best opportunity to observe wild ponies along the boarders of Assateague's extensive calm western shoreline. We see wild horses, dolphins, eagles, shorebirds and more along the National Wildlife Refuge at Assateague. Our newest 40' tour boat is

a U.S. Coast Guard certified passenger vessel, certified for 49 passengers. All of your family and friends can stay together on our boat. This boat is 12' wide with large high-speed catamaran style hulls, providing a smooth ride, high off the water. The boat is equipped with a restroom and a large top for shade. We have three tour boats in our fleet. Departs from the most sheltered location on the island. Our dock location gives us the best access to the many herds of wild ponies along the island. The only cruise that departs this close to Assateague. Our close and sheltered location allows us to search for the "North" or "South" herd of ponies, enjoy protected calm waters for the entire cruise and spend more time in areas where wild ponies frequent. There is no need to traverse rough waters or waste time trying to get here from the other side of Chincoteague. Experience extraordinary views of Assateague's lighthouse, wildlife refuge, ponies and wildlife right from our dock. Kayak tours and rentals are also available.
