Texas A&M Gamma Beta

Texas A&M Gamma Beta Gamma Chapter of Gamma Beta National Fraternity, Inc. at Texas A&M University This group of men consisted of three juniors, one sophomore, and two freshmen.

The Gamma Beta Fraternity was created in the Spring of 2000 at the University of Texas at Austin. The original nine founders intended to incorporate the culture of the Asian community and the values and morals of a family to create an unparalleled brotherhood. However, due to complications with the University of Texas, Gamma Beta began as a student organization. After many long nights of planning,

the initial ideas of brotherhood and unity changed from a dream to reality. With the dedication and commitment of these nine founders, the Gamma Beta Fraternity was officially established in the Summer of 2000. Gamma Beta had their first pledge class in the Fall of 2000, and with the Alpha class began a tradition of brotherhood and unity that has been and will be passed on to all future brothers. In the Fall of 2008, a group of young men from Texas A&M University contacted the founding chapter of Gamma Beta Fraternity, Inc. at the University of Texas in regards to expanding the fraternity to their university. Filled with determination and ambition, the six men came to a unanimous decision to begin the New Member Education Process and establish the presence of Gamma Beta on the campus of Texas A&M University. Under the direction of Expansion Director, Joshua Kim, the six men began their process on October 17th, 2008. After overcoming trials and tribulations, the six young men officially crossed into the brotherhood on the night of December 5th, 2008. On that night, Gamma Colony of Gamma Beta Fraternity, Inc. was established. After crossing, the six founding Charters immediately began the long and arduous task of carrying Gamma Beta's ideals to Texas A&M. Their Journey Continues...
