Does a club level room make sense for your vacation?
First let's go through everything that's included:
Access to the club level lounge which serves continental breakfast, beverages, afternoon snacks, evening hors d'oeuvres including cordials and deserts plus beer and wine. The lounge is closed a few times a day when they are switching out the menu but if you can find a cast member they'll always get you what you are looking for!

VIP service. The cast members here are top-notch so the service you get will be unlike anything else.
Now does club level make sense for your vacation? If you are looking to take a more relaxed vacation and plan to utilize your resort to its fullest, club level 100% make sense! You would not need the dining plan or even want to book many table service meals.
You should plan to eat at the lounge as much as you can. Grab breakfast before hitting the park and even head back midday if possible for a snack or dinner.
If spending time at Magic Kingdom is high on your list than a Magic Kingdom Resort club level would be ideal for your family. Epcot and Hollywood Studios more your style, than an Epcot Resort would be perfect.

This was just a few of the drinks I had. My goal was to hit as many lounges as we could. I'd say mission accomplished, we even hit the dessert party at Magic Kingdom for champagne and beer so that counts for a park where they only sell alcohol at table service restaurants.
My unpopular opinion....... Magic Kingdom has become my least favorite park! There i said it. Is it the lack of booze? Maybe, but I prefer the vibe and eats at all the other parks. #unpopularopinion

Yes it relies on buses and it's large but it's beautiful and there is so much to eat, drink and do. It's actually in a great central location on property. I was surprised how short the bus rides were to each park.
If you want to stay deluxe, but you're on a moderate budget and you are looking to enjoy some downtime at your resort, look no further.
