I got high for a little bit today. Very clear conditions. Top photo is straight out of the camera @ 70mm. Bottom is almost 100% crop in on the city of Richmond 21 miles away.

I took these photos and audio at Adams' Peanuts & Country Store in Waverly Va. November 24, 2008. I created a Soundslide video that got around for a while but got lost on the internet somewhere. So I recreated a fresh version and here we go.

Calvin Adams did the narration and is in the photos along with his son Lewis. Calvin Adams passed away March 2013, about five years after this day. Lewis still runs the store today.

What a great day this was. I got to work with Sande Snead again. She works with a large marketing agency that has a new client that involves promoting travel by rail. We go way back to the VDOT days. I love being retired from "the man" and taking jobs as I please.
