My goal thirteen years ago was a Disney Half Marathon. My Brain Injury in 2011 caused me to have to put a pin in it, but not anymore. I started running yesterday to prepare. I will start small, aim to knock out the 5k and work my way up the list of events. With God's help, all things are possible.

I am so stinking excited about this! We are huge Harry Potter fans. From book release parties to opening night at the theater, our family never missed a beat.

We will be heading down next month to enjoy Universal Stuidos Florida and Islands of Adventure. You may even see us splashing around at Volcano Bay!

Epcot is one of my most favorite parks at Walt Disney World. I love the slower pace and strolling through the world showcase.

I also love all the rides. Just thinking about them makes me smile, but one of my favorites is The Land. There's nothing thrilling about it, no drops or high speed turns, just gardening. But it inspires me to go home and try to grow stuff, too. In all honesty, that never really makes it out of the park, but for those 10 minutes, I am a plant growing fool.

Don't forget to wear good walking shoes while in the parks. I walked over 30,000 steps on Sunday.

I wore my Toms out so I purchased Sperry tennis shoes to try out.

Disney Springs has a great Sperry store you can go visit. Their customer service has always been top notch!
