Tip of the day: Savings tip 💰 Remember to bring beach towels when visiting Volcano Bay or you can rent for $6 per towel. Also, grab a rain poncho at your local dollar store so you are prepared for Florida’s pop up showers while in the parks! 🌦

Tip #8 - We always ride the Haunted Mansion last thing before leaving Magic Kingdom! So fun & spooky and also you can usually walk right on! Yay for no waiting! 😁

Tip #7 - Our Favorite Rides

Magic Kingdom - (Kara) Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs & (El) Space Mountain (I have never ridden this one ever and probably never will but its a favorite El & the kids)

Epcot - (Kara) Frozen Ever After & (El) Soarin

Hollywood Studios - (Kara) Toy Story Mania & (El) Millennium Falcon

Animal Kingdom - (Kara) Kilimanjaro Safari & (El) Mount Everest

I am not a roller coaster fan and haven't ridden several of El's favorites but that's one of the best things about the Disney parks is there are SO many options I never feel like I'm missing out anyways. When El and I go together he'll usually skip some of his favorites and sometimes if the lines not too long he'll go while I do some shopping. It always works out! 😜

Tip #6 - Get tickets for Mickey's Boo Bash!

If you are going to Disney during the Fall be sure to look into getting tickets for this event! It's so fun and has always been a favorite of ours and we aren't even big Halloween people and even less evil villain people... it's just never been our thing! But, we do enjoy the shows, the parades, the low crowds, extra characters & of course the candy. The kids have always loved going to this event and El and I just got our tickets in the mail and will be going by ourselves this year! It's really a fun evening and lots of things to do and see!

Tip #5 - Enjoy your favorite treats!!! Disney has some fabulous food and restaurants, and some really fun treats! My favorite snacks are the Mickey Bars and the Carmel Popcorn! The kids and I will ALWAYS get Mickey Bars as soon as we get to the park and I always bring home a bag of Carmel Popcorn! El's favorite is the Pineapple Dole Whip and we usually get that the 1st day (and 2nd day & 3rd day) too! 😁

Best thing is that these snacks are all gluten free! I have a number of food allergies and I find Disney to be about the easiest place for me to actually be able to enjoy eating out without having to worry! Beforehand they have list of food allergens so you can know before you go what you are able to eat and not eat. Also, if your allergies are a little more complicated a chef will always come out and talk to you and make your food just right for you... it's really amazing!

Feel free to ask any questions if you or your child has any food allergies they have to deal with... I've become quite an expert even though it wasn't exactly by choice. 😉

Tip #4 - Get to the parks as soon as they open!

We leave for the parks about 45 min. before they're scheduled to open so we can get there early! If you're staying at a Disney Resort you can get in to the park 30 min. early! Then we head straight to our favorite rides and we're able to get in several rides with relatively short waits! We find mornings and evenings to be the times we enjoy the most... less people & cooler temps! 🙂

Magic Kingdom is always the park we go to on our 1st day and we head straight to Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs or if the kids are with us we head to Space Mountain in Tomorrowland! 🙂

Tip #3 - Buy souvenirs before you travel to Disney and pack them in your bag for the kids! You can shop sales and find Disney t-shirts, stuffed animals and toys much cheaper at stores like Amazon, Target, Dollar Store & Walmart.

We also love pin collecting & you can buy Disney pins in bulk on eBay for a significant savings. I would do this and then let the kids have a few "new" pins every day to trade! They had so much fun and it felt like they were getting something "new" everyday!

Tip #2 - Make your Dining Reservations as soon as your 60 window opens up (better yet... let your friendly travel agent make them for you 😉).

Beaches and Cream is one place that's always so good! We LOVE ice cream and old fashioned ice cream shops are my favorite!🍨

Beaches and Cream is famous for the Kitchen Sink (pic below) and there's a picture of El and Isaac sharing a No Way Jose! 😋

Some other restaurants we'll be visiting are: Chef Mickey's, Cape May Cafe, Be Our Guest, Sci-Fi, Le Cellier Steakhouse, California Grill & Mama Melrose

Follow along for 30 Fun Tips about traveling to Disney WITHOUT kids! 😁

We do Disney differently when kids aren’t along and it’s an absolute blast! You can enjoy some amazing restaurants that you normally wouldn’t take kids too... at least not our kids! You can enjoy shows, fireworks & parades... without running kids to the bathroom and trying to make sure no one is lost! You get to laugh and talk together without constant interruptions and you may just find out that you really do still like each other! Disney is a magical place for kids AND adults alike! 🥰

Tip #1 - We like to get reservations at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort and it’s best to plan 9-12 months in advance because Boardwalk is a prime location and books up fast! It has a great night life and you can walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios! Perfect for when it’s just the 2 of us!

One of our favorite destinations is to head to the Creation Museum just across the Ohio border in Kentucky! It’s absolutely amazing and they are continually adding new exhibits, beautiful gardens, zip lines, play grounds and new animals to their petting zoo!

They just added the Fearfully & Wonderully Made exhibit showing the development of a baby from day 1... really amazing! 💕 And, don’t miss any of shows... especially the Stargazer Planetarium! 💫🌎⭐️

Kids 10 and under are free for 2021 and don’t forget to grab some of their famous fudge on your way out (or in...like we did 😜)
