Day 7 Our last day- Magic Kingdom! I didn’t take many photos, but we rode about 20 rides, ate a wonderful lunch at Liberty Tree, and enjoyed the fireworks. We rode Tiana’s Bayou for the first time- adorable! I scored a perfect score on Buzz Lightyear and will forever be the coolest mom because of it. We ate our weight in popcorn. My oldest decided that Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is his new favorite ride. Magic Kingdom is always a great day. We had a blast!

Day 6 This was a day of laundry and rest! It was also New Year’s Eve. We took the morning slow and headed over to Disney Springs to get lunch. We ate at Raglan Road, one of our favorites! Then the boys spent some time in the Lego store. We then headed back to the resort to rest before celebrating the new year with pizza and dessert.

Day 5 We said “goodbye” to the Wish and “help” to Walt Disney World. Our first stop after eating breakfast on the ship and traveling to WDW was to check our bags with the bell service before hopping on the monorail to head to the newest resort restaurant Wailulu bar and grill. The new tower at the Polynesian resort is beautiful and this restaurant was fantastic! Our food was great. From there we jumped on the monorail to visit the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian.

Day 4 Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay! Once again we accomplished so much in one day. We woke up to a beautiful view of the island, grabbed something quick for breakfast, and hit the sand! Nothing beats the views from one of these hammocks. After time on the beach and eating lunch on the island, we decided we needed to visit a few places on the ship that we hadn’t been able to just yet. My oldest tried out the second water slide onboard, Slide-a-saurus Rex (multiple times) and also enjoyed some splash pad time with his little brother (2). Our dinner on our last night was at Worlds of Marvel. Spider-Man even stopped in for a visit. We watched the last stage show, Aladdin and told our beautiful ship goodnight for the last time.

Day 3 Nassau! So many things packed into one day! We started the day with meeting a ton of characters. We spent time with our Star Wars friends, Spider-Man, and even a few princesses. Each one took their time and discussed everything from birthday celebrations to the difference between glass slippers and crocs. We got off the ship for a little bit to do some shopping in Nassau, but were back on board in time to grab lunch, gelato, and play a little bingo. Did you know that even kids can play along on Disney Cruise line? They’re even electronic versions that make it super easy for them or you! It was pirate night for dinner and also the night we decided to celebrate my oldest’s birthday with a special cake. On the way to dinner he had a small sword fight with Pirate Mickey. Our server even gifted my son, an origami he had made. We ate way too much and celebrated pirate night with the pirate show and fireworks at sea. We also squeezed in the Little Mermaid stage show which was fabulous! It was another great day!

We rode the AquaMouse multiple days, but my oldest (5) fell in love with it on day one. The AquaMouse has animated scenes and delightful special effects, as a first-of-its-kind water ride it will send you on a fun adventure through 760 feet of winding tubes suspended high above the upper decks.

Day 2 Embarkation day!

We did so much on this day. We grabbed lunch from Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods, rode the Aquamouse multiple times, met up with some of our favorite characters, toured the kids club areas, purchased some macaroons from Joyful Sweets, had an incredible dinner at Arendale, watched an amazing stage show original to the Wish, and ended the night with some room service of milk & cookies. The fun was just getting started!

Day 1 of our recent Disney Cruise was a travel only day. I often help my clients arrange a night in the Orlando area before embarkation. We chose to stay right at the airport. It was nice to be able to swim, get dinner, and relax before boarding the ship the next day! ✈️🛏️
