Travel tip of the day to prepare you for your 2025 travel plans, please keep in mind that REAL ID Enforcement Deadline is quickly Approaching. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has announced that REAL ID compliance will be required starting May 7, 2025.

This means that only state-issued driver’s licenses and identification cards that meet the security standards of the REAL ID Act will be accepted for federal purposes, including boarding commercial aircraft.

Almost 25 years ago I was in a Florida newspaper article about prenatal yoga with my instructor. Who knew I would be doing same pose 25 years later with that baby at a beautiful beach. Such an amazing experience on one of the prettiest beaches I've ever seen.

Cruising into 2024 in suite style aboard the beautiful Crystal Serenity. Huge cabin with a whirlpool bath tub, walk in closet, large veranda and a butler that spoiled me with a hot pot of coffee every morning, wine at sunset on the veranda and clean and pressed clothes before I headed home. Amazing nobu restaurant one of 6 dining rooms onboard and no extra charges. Delicious cocktails by their mixologist also included and fun pickleball courts and fitness center to work it all off. Highly recommend cruising in January to relax after the holidays and start the new year off with a fun adventure.. call me to get a wonderful crystal cruise on your calendar.

Since it's National Travel Advisor appreciation week, I'm going to do a post each day this week with travel advice.
MAKING TRAVEL PLANS MONDAY...

The pandemic has taught us that we love to travel and missed that greatly. A lot of travelers have had this revelation and therefore, here is our advice when to make plans:

2 years out : Destinations for time-specific events such as The Grand Prix in Monaco, the British Open, cherry blossoms in Japan and any other special event.

1 year out : safaris, cruises, holiday travel, multi-generational trips so everybody gets their calendars synched.

6 Months out: beach and ski destinations because there are many resorts and properties to choose from for this they don't need quite as much advance booking. But if you're wanting a specific resort, book sooner.

3 Months Out: Airplane tickets to see family or friends. The idea of waiting until closer to travel time for deals is over. Space if limited on the flights due to more people traveling and not as many flights as pre pandemic. The closer you wait to you travel date, there will be less availability which means higher fares generally or even no space at all.
