Any guesses on what two destinations I have been quoting and booking most often the last couple of months?

I haven't done the exact math, but I would be willing to guess that 50+% of all of my requests since early November have been to either Alaska or Hawaii. You only have to look at the photos and chat with someone who has been to understand why.

I am curious have you been to one? Or both? If not, are they on your wish list?

One week from today I will be back in the magic for the 10th annual Travelmation Retreat. While I am there I will not only get to continue grow my knowledge of Disney Destinations, but I will have the opportunity to meet with dozens and dozens of travel vendors, benefit from training of all sorts, enjoy the company of some of the best in this business, and finally get to ride Tiana's Bayou Adventure. I can't wait!

I have been working on a cruise search this morning for a family who wants to sail in February. Sometimes when I am digging for someone, I run across a rate that I just know SOMEBODY should jump on. People often ask me, can you book "insert any kind of destination imaginable here." And most of the time, the answer is yes. An old friend asked recently if I could help her with planning an African Safari and of course, that is something I love to do. Our Perfect Day ar Cococay is off to a perfect start. The four of us took our snorkel gear out to Chill Island bright and early and managed to see so many cool creatures including angelfish, parrotfish, damselfish, and a stingray. Now for some time with a book, under an umbrella, with the waves in front of me.

I am excited to be taking our youngest two on their first cruise today. We enjoyed some pre-cruise fun on arrival day yesterday. Notice, we had a pre-cruise arrival day, something I beg all of my travel clients to do. Delayed flights can make for missed ships and I have heard way too many of those stories. The fact that it allows space for custom ice cream sandwiches, yummy empanadas, and extra time together is just a bonus.

Mine was definitely lots of projectile vomit out of my toddler while on a layover in an African airport. It was all over my shoes, he was covered, people were staring. AND we had to get on another plane where it continued. SO AWFUL!
