Hello fellow members and friends,

As we move forward with 2016, we would like to update everyone regarding certain changes that are going to be made. Due to time constraints and personal reasons, our president, Christian Rodriguez, will be stepping down and will now fill the role of faculty/staff advisor for the FIU Rotaract. During this time, our vice president, Isabel Acosta, will hold the office of president as interim until a new president is elected. We will be hosting a meeting soon in order to transition the e-board. We thank you for your continued support, and hope that 2016 will be a year of improvement and change for our club to be as successful as we know we can be. Hello everyone!

We won't be having a meeting tonight in preparation for our Back to School Drive Partnership with the International Rescue Committee. The event will be held on Thursday, August 13th at 6pm at the IRC headquarters at 730 NW 107th Ave. Doral, FL. Please feel free to join us! We are seeking volunteers to distribute school supplies, backpacks and uniforms to 150 needy families. If you'd like to provide school supplies, you can contact our president, Christian D. Rodriguez before next Tuesday so he can drop them off. If you'd like to provide a monetary donation, you can make a check out to International Rescue Committee.

We truly hope to see you at the event! Please notify us if you'd like to volunteer!
