Travel isn’t just about the destination—it’s about the stories, connections, and memories you create along the way. What’s one unforgettable moment from your travels? One of mine is when we took the kids to see a football game in London. Seeing sporting events in other countries is a great way to get the kids to connect with the culture and people. My kids will never forget the time we spent Thanksgiving watching Chelsea and getting McDonalds in London.

As travel agents we are always asked if clients pay extra to use us. Let's start 2025 by clearing the air! No! Our services to travelers are 100% free. We work just like realtors. You would never consider buying a house without having someone to look out for your best interest, yet the SELLER pays the realtor a commission so the BUYER gets all the expertise at no cost! Same here. The resort is the SELLER and the vacationer is the BUYER. So the next time someone asks you if it's expensive to use a travel agent, tell them that you can't afford not to!

Minimum wage is going up in Mexico in 2025 (by 12%). This means that minimum wage for an 8 hour day (NOT per hour, per DAY) is 278.80MXN or approximately $13USD per DAY.
Think about how much even a small tip goes at these rates. I try to make an extra effort to tip those who normally get forgotten at resorts - gardeners, cleaners in the lobby, airport washroom cleaners, etc. Housekeeping, waiters and bartenders work hard but will likely see the most tips - don't forget about those making the least who don't get as much attention.
