Finally, a good report across the board!

Trout are on fire on topwaters! We caught a quick limit and an additional 50 or 60 fish today. Had 8 or 9 over slot. 90% of the trout were caught on topwaters.

The reds have been a little easier to find. We caught 7 or 8 today with more seen while trout fishing.

Drum were all over the place with their backs and tails out of the water this morning. Didn’t target them.

The flounder are finally eating. The trip was basically over but we made a quick stop on a flounder spot. Boxed 3 nice ones fairly quickly on plastics.

Still fishing south of Baffin. All fish today were caught in the land cut.

If you’re still looking for that pb trout on a topwater, now’s the time.

Sorry guys I’ve been busy but here’s a quick report on the fishing.

Trout fishing has been excellent. Plastics & occasionally topwaters have been working. Croaker & shrimp have been great also. Most of my trout are coming from rocky slough & south down into the cut.

Redfish has been hit or miss for a couple of months now. None of my normal spots seem to be holding fish so I’m kind of all over the place looking for them. One day they’ll be in dead man’s then gone the next. No real concentrations of them.

Flounder fishing has been aweful unless you’re gigging at night.

Drum are still running scared cause all the guides that chase them with their trolling motors so we’ll land one every now & then. Had a guy land a 20 lber the other day sight fished on a gold spoon.
