Happy Fall, everyone! The weather is still beautiful and the color tour is in full swing. We took these pictures a week ago and the color is already so much more intense - perfect time to go joyriding around the U.P! Immerse yourself in Mother Nature's beauty when you stay at this remote Upper Peninsula cabin! It has a sprawling yard leading down to beautiful Vermilac Lake, and is otherwise surrounded by wild North Woods forest. The lake is a great place for motor-less water activities: fishing, canoeing, kayaking, etc. This cabin is also a good halfway point between many U.P. attractions. It's a cozy place, perfect for a writer seeking seclusion, a group of fishing buddies, or a tight-knit family on an adventure!

Summer dates are being booked fast, but we still have several openings left in June and August. It's also a great time to start thinking about color season, and beyond. (Deer hunting, anyone?) We hope to see you soon at Cynic's Cove!
