Another great article on actual filming locations right here in Covington. Just a heads up this post has a bit of information but it's worth the read.

Did you know the Mystic Grill/The Alley is the most screen shown building in the entire series? It is! We are the only location in the world where the Vampire Diaries,The Originals and Legacies fans can Shop, Dine, see Memorablila and be on a actual film set from ALL 3 shows! How cool is that?

While the footprint of the restaurant is a bit different because TVD is filmed on the sound stages for the interior scenes. The entrance at the 2 front doors were used quite often. The cast have been inside and eaten at the Grill too! The food is so good and is well known around Georgia!

The Inside of the Mystic Grill is worth checking out and taking pictures. Ms. Angi (owner) was able to tour the studio sets and recreated the bar just like the bar on the show. The "Pool" and "Mystic Grill" signs in the our windows were put in place by the Vampire Diaries Production team. You don't want to miss out on going to our roof to get a selfie and pictures of the clock tower upclose.

Our Alley Store is a really cool place to shop - you actually walk on a film set to come see in! Check out our "Mystic Museum" which houses the LARGEST collection of screen worn clothes from The Vampire Diaries! The cast has gotten a kick out of seeing their clothes we have on display. We even have wardrobe pieces signed by Damon, Stefan, Klaus, Tyler, Alaric, Bonnie, and Jeremy. Julie Plec visited this past summer and loved the clothing and specifcially mentioned she remembered Stefan Pilot's outfit we have on display.

Did you know there are trolley tours with History, Haunting, and Hollywood Trolley Tours that take you to the filming locations of the Vampire Diaries, Legacies, Heat of the Night and more? There is and you can purchase the tickets right here in the Alley starting at noon on Saturdays. Tickets are only $20 each and the trolley is wheelchair and service animal accessible.
