With a heavy heart we have decided to sell. We will be listing the property soon. We have moved states and find it hard to manage from afar. We hope the new owners continue to have it as an Airbnb for everyone to enjoy it has been a great sucess for us and we are grateful for all the memories!

We had such a wonderful time at the cabin this weekend celebrating my moms Birthday. We are booked every weekend for the next month so we won’t be back up until December and we sure can’t wait to experience more snow! It was snowing again heavily as we left too.

Air quality started at low 50’s this morning (better than at our primary home) to 70’s this afternoon.

Then a shift in the wind, this evening the smoke rolled it we quickly shut things up and got our stuff inside. Air quality is now 500 😳.

58 has been closed since yesterday late afternoon as the fires close to oakridge continue to grow. We sit here praying for the safety of all the citizens affected by the fires and firefighters as they work to keep us all safe. Also pray for the animals fleeing their burning homes that they find a safe haven.

P.S. We are doing our best to get the getaway ready for guest by October.

A few updates were made this last week on the cabin we still have quite a bit to do this weekend to get it ready for guests, but we are getting there!

Cabin has beds for 14 people (including 2 pull out couches) we also offer 2 pack n plays to our guests to sleep two small children during your stay.

Crescent Lake is located within the Crescent Ranger District of the Deschutes National Forest.

The area has many trails for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking, and areas for off-road vehicles. Some trails are available for access from the house.

Also great for sailing, water sports and fishing at Crescent lake about 5 miles from the house. Also not far from Odell lake and Waldo lake.

In winter months you’re about 10 minutes from Willamette Pass and little over an hour to Mt Bachelor. You can snowmobile from the house as well.

We will be under construction for the first few weeks after we close on our new vacation rental! House will be available starting September 16th. We look forward to providing a great experience for all who stay with us!
