Our clients at Jet Set Travel Planners, LLC will agree! With cruislines, theme parks, and large sporting events being closed/cancelled along with overseas travel suspended our agents have worked countless hours over the past few weeks to take care of our clients needs. Even though it's been stressful for everyone our clients didn't have to wait on long holds or have to decipher the policies and terms of agreements for their bookings because our agents did all of that for them. And for those that rescheduled their trips for a later date our agents assisted with getting all the extras (like Dining) canceled and rescheduled too. New details were just revealed this morning for two Guest-favorite festivals at Epcot®: the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays.⁣

The 2019 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will run Aug. 29-Nov. 23, 2019 making it the longest Food & Wine Festival in the park’s history at 87 days! The festival’s Eat to the Beat Concert Series will run Aug. 29-Nov. 19 and will feature a lineup of pop, rock, R&B, country, Christian, swing and Latin artists. (NOTE: The concert series will conclude a few days earlier than the festival in order to set the stage for the return of the park’s beloved Candlelight Processional).⁣

With so many exciting new offerings coming to Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort in 2019 and beyond, there is so much to look forward to. Take a moment to look at the latest rules for each destination, which are available on DisneyWorld.com/Rules and Disneyland.com/Rules.

Here are a few tips to help ensure a smooth arrival during your next visit.

STROLLERS
Beginning May 1, we are adjusting our guidelines on stroller sizes, which will require them to be no larger than 31" (79cm) wide and 52" (132cm) long or smaller. The good news – many of the strollers on the market, including many double jogging strollers, fit within these size guidelines. Also, just a reminder that wagons are not permitted in our parks. Beginning May 1, stroller wagons will also no longer be permitted. These updates are designed to help guest flow and ease congestion, making the parks more enjoyable for everyone.
TIP: The smaller your stroller, the easier it is to navigate and maneuver the parks. At Walt Disney World Resort, your clients can rent a single or double stroller once they arrive, and they can be rented each day. Or, they can choose a Length of Stay Rental, which will save them time and money. While Walt Disney World already offers a double stroller rental, Disneyland Resort will soon offer one too.

SMOKING
Also beginning May 1, smoking areas will no longer be present inside Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme parks, water parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex or Downtown Disney in California.
TIP: Designated smoking areas will be available outside the entrances to the areas listed above, and at Disney Springs in Florida. For guests who have room or dining reservations, smoking areas are also available at Disney Resort hotels.

LOOSE ICE
Beginning today, if your clients plan to bring a cooler or cooler bag to store snacks and drinks for theme park or water park adventures, it’s important to know that loose or dry ice are no longer permitted.
TIP: We recommend your clients use re-useable ice packs instead. Complimentary cups of ice are available at Food & Beverage locations inside the parks if needed.

Have you checked out Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios yet?

I have already given you my advice on using Mobile Ordering at Andy's Lunchbox. Now here's my advice about what time a day is best to go (and a few other tips and helpful information).

I had the opportunity to visit Toy Story Land twice during my last trip. 1st at night the day I arrived and the 2nd during the daytime on our last day! WOW! 😳 It's AMAZING and so MUCH FUN! 🤠🤡🤪
I highly recommend seeing it during the day and at night because it has a different feel during both. If you can't visit during both here's a few tips: 1) During the day- Make sure you have water, sunscreen, hats and/or sunglasses because the area has very few shaded areas.
2) During the day- Make your FastPass for Slinky Dog. Not only are the waits the longest, but the que/line has the least amount of shade. Toy Story Midway Mania has a large indoor que area.
3) During the day- Use Extra Magic morning hours (for Disney Resort guests) and try to do everything by 11am so you won't be in the area during the hottest parts of the day
4) Either time of day- expect to wait for whatever attractions you do not have a FastPass for...Alien Swirling Saucers is a very family friendly ride but it's a short ride at around 1 minute so I personally would not wait for it more than 20 minutes. Toy Story Midway Mania is also very family friendly plus it has 3 tracks so it moves faster and it has a que/line area that has some interesting things to see. I would personally wait up to 45 minutes for this one.
5) At night- It will be cooler and closer to the time of park closing the wait times usually decrease.
6) They did close the lines about 15 minutes prior to the park closing so no one else was allowed to enter the stand-by lines for any of the attractions the evening I was there.
7) There is only 1 way in and out of this area on the left side of One Man's Dream and to the right of Pixar Place aka Municiberg. It doesn't connect with any other parts of the park.
8 ) There are no merchandise shops but they do have merchandise carts.
9) There is only 1 Quick Service location (Andy's Lunchbox) and it does not have any indoor seating and very limited outdoor seating.
10) The bathrooms are currently the biggest (and cutest themed) in the whole park. They are found next to Woody's Lunchbox and across from Alien Swirling Saucers/the giant Buzz Lightyear statue.

Let's talk Quick/counter Service meals and snacks at Walt Disney World!
Many people think that you can only eat burgers, fries, and hotdogs at Disney. And that snacks only consist of Mickey ice cream bars and pretzels. I'm here to educate you that's NOT the case at all! Read the comments with the photos below for just a FEW examples from my last trip! Oh and remember SEVERAL of these places even the snack kiosks offer MOBILE ORDERING! Here's a little something that I wanted to share that I tried for the first time during my recent Walt Disney World trip.. Mobile Ordering! Omgoodness! I loved it. The lines were really long for Woody's Lunch Box and Satul'i Canteen so I decided to give it a try. It took less than 5 minutes to order through the MDE app and about 10 minutes total for pickup! Super easy and really fast! And I used my QS Dining Plan credits too. If you haven't used it yet, I highly recommend it. Stay tuned for more trip posts!

1) Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios – On May 1, 2019, Walt Disney World Resort will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios®. The park is honoring this achievement all year with a new 30th anniversary logo and other fun and excitement....such as...

2) Party with Pixar Pals at Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Starting Jan. 18, 2019, you can celebrate the park’s 30th anniversary with The Incredibles, who will host a dance party at Pixar Avenue (where Guests can also meet the one and only Edna Mode!). A door to the monster world will open at Walt Disney Presents, where Mike and Sulley from Disney•Pixar’s “Monsters, Inc.” will greet Guests. And Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the rest of the gang are ready to welcome your Clients into Andy’s backyard at the new Toy Story Land.

3) Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy Speeds into Disney’s Hollywood Studios –When this new show experience opens this spring, youwill come face to face with racing legend Lightning McQueen, who will teach them about racing from his years of experience on the track. 4) Explore Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Live your own Star Wars adventure when this deeply immersive land opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this fall (and this summer at Disneyland® Park in California).
