When is the best time to go to Universal Orlando Resort? Well May 2025 is already starting to book up and we are seeing the calendars get busier now with the announcement of Epic Universe Opening on May 22, 2025.

With the Holidays approaching, I get a lot of people asking me when is the best time to plan a trip for their family, and my answer can sometimes shock people. While it is absolutely possible to plan a last minute trip to Disney World, I recommend you plan your trip about 6 months in advance!

Why? You have more time to plan. Not just your day-to-day itinerary, but you will find more resort options are available, you can book your dining at the 60-day mark and have more success in scoring that reservation to the restaurant that you always wanted to try! And you also have more wiggle room in case you need to make last minute changes!

The further out you book, the easier it is to plan to see and do everything you want!
