Well 2020 certainly was a challenging year, but the good news is, it's in the rear view mirror and we survived. We found out just how strong we really are and that will empower us moving forward. For the 7th day of a Starfish Christmas, we bring you the beautiful land of rainforests, beaches, volcanoes, sloths and Pura Vida (pure life0, Costa Rica! My photos can't do justice to the amazing rainforest foliage, so I included 2 sloth pictures!

On the 6th day of a Starfish Christmas, we bring you the Mexican Riviera. We have sailed this itinerary several times and love the ports where there is always something fun to do. Stunning sunsets, beautiful beaches in Acapulco, Las Caletas Hideaway in Puerto Vallarta, cooking classes in Mazatlan and drinking Waboritas in Cabo San Lucas. Always something to do and the fresh seafood, salsa and guacamole is to die for.

The 5th day of a Starfish Christmas, we bring you the magnificent city of Florence, home of Michaelangelo's David, the Ponte Vecchio (the only Florence bridge not bombed in WWII), and birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, Florence Nightingale, Gelato AND the piano!

For the 4th day of Starfish Christmas, we travel a little closer to home, to Bermuda! These spectacular islands are about 650 miles off the coast of North Carolina and are known for their pink sand beaches, Bermuda shorts with dress shirts, knee socks and ties!), fabulous golf courses and a great climate due to the proximity of the Gulf Stream.

On the third day of a Starfish Christmas, we bring you the Azores. this archipelago is part of Portugal and is located in the Atlantic, 1500 km west of Lisbon. Beautiful climate, very green, lots of cows which makes them a large provider of dairy to Spain and Portugal.
