It is the question we get asked the most. It is pretty simple. R - stands for Richard (my husbands first name)
A - stands for Alison (my first name)
M - stands for Merten (our last name)

We started RAM Specialty Products with the idea of doing embroidery for friends, neighbors, and maybe receive referrals along the way. Well, that was MANY years ago and we haven't looked back. As our business gre

w we added personalized gifts to our product line along with other fun and interesting items. We are constantly adding new products so please visit us often. Our goal is to provide unique products at an affordable price. We expect quality from our vendors and stand behind everything we sell. Richard and I have been married for 18 years. We have 3 beautiful and energetic boys; ages 14, 6 & 3. Our world is busy and very LOUD, but we enjoy every moment. I have started brainwashing my boys to be nurturing and good husbands... I need to make sure I end up with sweet daughter-in-laws one day. The women they marry will appreciate the fact that they do laundry, clean, and cook!! Until then... I will remain the Queen of my house and my boys know it! My family would like to thank you for helping us make our dreams a reality. We really appreciate all of your support and look forward to the rest of our journey.

Super excited to share this exciting photo! When this customer asked me to recreate her pregnancy announcement shirt it warmed my heart. They had fertility issues and ended up going the IVF route for baby #2. I have been praying for their journey since the day she went in for the procedure. Joy is the first word that describes how I felt when I heard that IVF worked for this sweet family! Woo Hoo!!!! I didn’t make the shirt for her first pregnancy, but I am honored that I was asked to recreate the shirt for this pregnancy. Such a special request. Can’t wait to meet this little nugget in June!

This little girl had open heart surgery when she was 15 days old due to hypo-plastic aortic arch, coarctation of the aorta and a ventricular septal defect. When her mother told me the story about her serious medical journey, I got goosebumps. CHD affects 1 in 100 babies!! Ella Grace is now almost 3 months old and is doing GREAT! God's grace is amazing and he worked miracles every step of the way with this little one. I am blessed that this customer has become such a dear sweet friend over the years. Stay posted about fundraising efforts that the family is planning. They want to raise awareness about CHD and help support other families that will experience the same journey.

My absolute favorite projects are M2M (made to match) shirts. My customer brought me the skirt and told me the theme. Then I worked my magic to coordinate fabrics and design elements to match her theme. These are labors of love because it takes a lot of time to put together the graphics, choose the perfect fabrics and then program my machine for all the different thread colors. The end result is perfection when a cutie pie like Coraline is rockin' her . styled her perfectly down to ice cream cone shoes. YES... her shoes have ice cream cones!! Serious cuteness and thrilled I got to make this super cute Birthday shirt! Happy Birthday Coraline!!!

This project was a labor of love for a mom that has a very special place in my heart. I was told Peter Rabbit, 2nd Birthday and couldn't be too babyish. That all equals a lot of thinking! The final appliqué design was 4 different designs that I broke apart to create the final product. After all the designing the hard part is coordinating fabrics and thread colors. These are my absolute favorite projects. I love the little details like the carrots on the hot air balloon. Thanks for letting me dress this little boy for his 2nd Birthday. I love that you trust me to do my thing and be creative.

Today is the day that this sweet girl turned FOUR! I have been making clothes for this diva since she was born. She will tell anyone that listens that "Ms. Alison makes all my clothes." & "Ms. Alison made this because it has sparkles and diamonds." I was soooo excited to see this precious one today when her grandmother came over to pick up an order. Hugs and kisses for the Birthday Girl!!

This sweet little girl just had her 4th Birthday party. I got to make her shirt to match those super cute rainbow pants. What a FUN project! Bright, glittery and lots of sparkle for this girl!
