Who wants to be outside in this cold... unless you are catching lots of fish😉, the January and February crappie bite is on!

The cold blast of weather will have them schooled up well! Don't miss out, these are the two best months for catching crappie, especially if you like to cook and eat them, like Doug. ;)

Merry Christmas!

December is the best month of the year for catching larger stripers as the water temperatures drop into the 50's and the fish school up tight under large schools of baitfish.

I've had success catching my largest stripers from this lake in December. The striper bite will continue through January as long as the water temperatures remain in the high 40's - low 50's.

Crappie season started early this year. Last week, on a half day charter, we boated 50 nice fish. The bite will be great all winter into early March.
