Here is an aerial view of construction activities on the northern portion of the U.S. 98 pedestrian underpass in Inlet Beach.

In this photo, the northern portion of the tunnel has been constructed and crews are backfilling and compacting the soil to achieve the required density.

As a reminder, March 11- March 27 is the designated spring break work suspension period.

This project is part of the $5.6 million effort to construct a lighted pedestrian underpass beneath U.S. 98, immediately east of County Road 30A in Inlet Beach.
