It is with deep regret we announce the passing of our founder and friend, Taylor Sims. Taylor started Dallas Performance in 2007 with the desire to change the face of automotive performance. The industry quickly took notice as Dallas Performance became a leader in Corvette high performance, before diving into the high end exotic market. Over the past 12 years, Taylor assembled a team of craftspeople with the same passion for perfection and attention to detail, to meet the high expectations of our customers. Our Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Audi R8 builds quickly established themselves as some of the finest in the industry, reflecting the vision Taylor had for Dallas Performance.

The Dallas Performance family stands resolute in our determination to carry on Taylor’s legacy. Each vehicle that comes out of the shop is a source of pride for each of us, with the same attention to detail as before, and reputation that we faithfully stand behind. Dallas Performance is not going anywhere.

To all of our customers with current builds or vehicles in transit, we will be reaching out to you this week with updates on your builds, and would like to thank you for your patience over the past week. We thank each and every one of you in the community, for your outpouring of support for Taylor’s family and the Dallas Performance family, and allowing us to remember Taylor through each of your heartfelt posts.

More progress on our GTR! Almost done!

Our GTR engine!

Our BL 1300x Turbo Kit. Using modern cutting edge turbo technology with 100% billet design turbos we were able to save weight, add reliability and most importantly add horsepower. We also implemented 3.5-inch titanium turbo inlets and intakes insuring an even flow of charged intake air. What does all this add up to? 1400whp with the same spool and drive ability of our BL1300 kit.

Huge THANK YOU to the beautiful "mum" & friend who kindly took us to the train station after our taxi decided not to pick us up. We made it on the train on time.. and are so thankful for their kindness. There are good people left in this world because I was losing my mind as we had walked a great way to get to the track. The GPS on my phone has failed me this trip. Now for the hour+ long trek back to the hotel room, and flight out tomorrow morning.
