Charley Crockett joined us to jam at Union Station, way back in 2017. I first met Charley more than a year earlier, when I popped into Adair's Saloon in Downtown Dallas and he was killing it in that little room. After the show we chatted out behind the bar, he was committed to his path and I had a feeling about him. He had the throwback look that was so successful for Leon Bridges, a Hank Williams vibe, but a totally original sound. The guy has come far!
