Lainey is the veteran and the brains behind the operation. Lainey can see something that looks useless and turn it into something to treasure.

The Attic Birds are a pair of friends (Lainey and Emily) who enjoy spending Saturday mornings visiting estate sales, getting a great deal, and fantasizing how they would decorate their dream home (we both want old fixer uppers with character). She knows what things are and what they are worth, and if she doesn’t, she knows who to call (her mom). She is known to pick out old photos and use them to

make beautiful cards. Emily knows very little about antiques, some things about vintage clothing and fabric, and a lot of random facts. Like Lainey, she is creative and has an eye for putting pieces together. The Attic Birds is a blog to capture our adventures, a sounding board for ideas, and a way for us to get our thoughts out there.
