For 25+ years, before team building was cool, SVCC ownership has hosted an annual fishing trip at Lake Texoma for project teams to enjoy a day away from the office/jobsite. And this year’s 2-day event was no different!

Thank you to Four Seasons Guide Services for always putting us on the striper 🎣

All boats reached their limit both days and our teams are already eagerly anticipating next year’s fishing trip! Who’s ready for a fish fry?!

The wait is over! Tom Thumb in Waxahachie has now officially opened its doors 🛒

It was an exciting event for the rapidly growing community! The Waxahachie High School band, cheer and drill teams helped to celebrate the food store's grand opening, as well as Mayor of Waxahachie Billie Wallace and Store Manager Antonio Webb.
Nothing but great support will be reciprocated between the Tom Thumb store team and community as Waxahachie continues to grow!

SVCC had a great time at the TEXO, The Construction Association Tailgate, part of the Challenge Cup Series, and even came back with some accolades 🔥

This past Friday we celebrated the grand opening of Highpoint at Wynnewood Apartments in Dallas, TX 🎊
We heard from Darren Smith with Pivotal, City of Dallas District 4 Councilwoman Carolyn King Arnold, Bobby Wilkinson with TDHCA, our own Steve Bruszer and a longtime Wynnewood area resident who recently moved into the new apartments all speaking to how this project is a step in the right direction for the South Dallas Wynnewood neighborhood. We may be partial, but our favorite part of the ceremony was when Councilwoman Arnold stated, “Spring Valley Construction Company is off the chain and standing on business!" 👏

"When the opportunity came up in talking with ownership to return to SVCC, I immediately started thinking about "what ifs?" and what it would look like to return and be a boomerang. After weighing options and many conversations with my wife, we ultimately decided that returning to SVCC was the best opportunity for us. Besides the switch to a technology role in the company, I missed the culture from Spring Valley and the fact that they truly live up to their vision of "building relationships with lasting value" and their brand promise of providing an enjoyable experience.
