Water is so invasive. This is the aftermath of our water issue. Baseboards removed along with several inches of drywall. We didn’t expect to also have to lose all lower cabinets in the kitchen and both bathrooms. The dryers and dehumidifier will be removed today. The blessings have been that the insurance company and mitigation company have been amazing and we will only have to pay our deductible and we were the ones here and not guests. Unfortunately July was fully booked for us and we will be unable to host those guest.

Things happen for a reason. We know this, but the process is often hard. This isn’t the vacation we expected but we are pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps. Hakuna Matata! It the end Mickeys Hideaway is going to be even better for future guests!

I grew up in Florida, so in a lot of ways it feels like home. Two things I have always missed is seeing (and catching) lizards on the daily and spanish moss. This morning we were greated by Lizzo, I named her this morning. The small lizard that likes our screen the kids call Kanye East and hasn’t made his appearance yet. This is our view as we drink our coffee, a beautiful tree with Spanish moss and the peaceful pond.

After our first two successful 5 star stays, our family is staying at Mickey’s Hideway for the first time! First stop the ice cream shop!

One of the many reasons we chose to buy in Regal Palms is because of the resort feel! We love staying at Disney Resorts, but Regal Palms offers many of the same amenities that the Disney Resorts offer. They even have movie nights by the pools! Here is July's schedule.

Welcome to our vacation rental page! We are now offering this spacious family friendly town-home located in Regal Palms, a resort full of amenities for the entire family. The resort is close to Disney World and all Orlando has to offer! This home sleeps 8 and has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. There are two masters in this town-home one located on the lower level, so perfect for families traveling with grandparents or two families traveling together. All appliances are new. The resort amenities include a pool with slide, lazy river, volleyball, fitness center, arcade, ice cream parlor, restaurant, spa and bar.
