On top of the world, or at least the southern Alps of New Zealand. I had an amazing hunt with South Pacific Safaris. It exceeded every expectation I had and Mike and Deborah Wilks run an absolutely first class operation, from start to finish. Suzanne joined me on this hunt because we took a helicopter up to the top. It was absolutely pristine, not another human track to be found. A memory to last a life time.

A great couple of days pheasant hunting in South Dakota. I was able to take my family and my son and I both shot our first pheasant. What a great few days with awesome people in an awesome part of our country. We must be blessed to live here.

Last season American Valor hosted two soldiers from special forces. Known by many as Green Berets, these men have had multiple deployments with demanding missions. We also remember our good friend, who was initially going to join our hunt but passed in a tragic drowning. A former Army Ranger and then a Major in the special forces, Travis Brunelle will never be forgotten by those of us who served beside him. Rest easy my friend, until Valhalla.

1 more day till I head to Texas for turkey fest. Can't wait to stop dreaming about turkeys and get to hunting them with derome and crew.

Looks like our team is complete and we are looking forward to another Clay County Turkeyfest with the great people of Henrietta, Tx and Clay County.
This has always been a favorite for us, and the hunting is only surpassed by the people who make it happen.
We have an active duty special forces soldier, and a former guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier and current border patrol agent making up the team. Both of these men have decades of service under their belts and are continuing to serve. Come on April.

Another American Valor hunt complete with two members of our Special Forces. Congrats Chris and Brandon. Not only did they take their biggest deer ever, they were also the biggest deer they have seen. I am honored to have been a part of it. Brandon also connected on a great wild boar.
