Imagine the feeling of knowing something is missing from your life, but you can't put your finger on it. For me, it's been this way since I left Alaska last year. I kept myself busy in nature but never fulfilling the longing to be amongst the trees. The smell of the forest, the gentle rain falling down around me. There is a soul-fullness about nature that engulfs the spirit and connects me to the peace contained within. I am truly a forest nymph roaming freely looking for solace and protection against everyday life. Today, I found the missing piece, and I felt whole again, I made it home.

Spring in the desert.

I spent some time at a local park today. I was recording my next youtube video and saw this beautiful cherry tree. It was filled with bee's collecting pollen. I could literally hear the buzzing as I took photos underneath the tree. They weren't the slightest threatened by me, which allowed me to get really close.

I shot these on my Canon 5D Mark IV with a 24-105 millimeter lens and edited them using Adobe Lightroom.
