Our journey following along the Platte River continues! Though, today we finally met the confluence of the Platte and Missouri Rivers, so now we trace our steps back home to Colorado. What an awesome river adventure it’s been! Wild mountain waters to placid plains waterways, it’s been a blast. We even got a chance to get out on the river with , so amazing!

We’re at it again! Tracing the Platte River this year from its headwaters (for both the North and South Plattes) all the way to the confluence with the Missouri River in Nebraska. We’ve made it to Casper, WY!

In May we will trace the Platte River from its headwaters in Colorado to the confluence of the Missouri River in Nebraska. It’s our third river to see in its entirety from the “headwaters state,” and there is a lot to learn on this tour!

Our heroic adventurer and brave explorer, Kevin, will be moving to Hawaii in the spring of 2025, so our trip to see the national parks of Southern California and Disneyland will be his last foray. Learning what a joshua tree actually looks like, seeing steam-created craters and hiking ancient California islands are on the menu for his going-away tour! We're off on an adventure to Golden today with ! We rode the light rail into Golden, learning from Kevin about the history of transit in the metro area. Then, we got an in-depth look into the history of Golden with our walking tour led by Hondo. Yeehaw!

We’ve gone north to Canada! Dr. Gulliford and Michael are leading a tour from Calgary to Vancouver with . We are currently in Banff and having a stupendous time! We even saw a black bear! Check out our story to follow the journey!

Kevin’s was out doing ¡Viva! Streets yesterday, walking three and a half miles, from Welton and 28th to Broadway and Maple. Most people were walking. It's an effort to get people out for music and food and community. They'll do one more this summer on August 6th. Hurrah Denver!

Kevin took a group to Idaho Springs and Georgetown yesterday for lots of fun and touring! They even got to pan for gold! Check out our story to see more of the adventure.

Our trip tracing the Colorado River has concluded, and what fun we had! Over 1,900 miles, ten days, five states, one river. We went from Grand Lake with the headwaters all the way to Mexico, then a short jaunt to San Diego to officially end by the ocean. Check out our story for more photos!

While Michael is touring the watery wonders of the Colorado River, Kevin is having an exploration of the Blue Ridge Parkway! He started at mile marker one near Waynesboro, VA and made it all the way to 469 in Cherokee, NC in Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Whoa! What an adventure! Our guests will get their take on it this autumn to see the vibrant colors the fall season will bring.

Who doesn't love beautiful rocks, with a slice of water and history?NO ONE! We had our geology tour yesterday, and it was a splendid experience. Jack told us all about orogenies, superposition and conterminous alluvial fans. Kevin hit the history. Rocks!

Kevin went to Jackson Lake State Park Sunday. Created for irrigation, the place is home to eagles in the spring and has some pleasant views. “It was a great day with my friends. Were told that it will be shore-to-shore boats in the summer, so maybe visit in May before the mayhem! For now, a happy day and an easy drive.”

Kevin’s in Richmond, Virginia, seeing the capitol. “Already been here, of course, but hadn't created the book (Capitol Collection) at that point, so back to get my book stamped ...twenty-seven years later. Ironically, it was under massive construction then ...renewed construction now. Ha! This capitol is the second oldest in the nation and has some great dignity. Maybe we'll come see it one day!”
