Sorry it's been awhile of posting.. some jobs are hard to capture damage. I did have to post this though, was at a job with a contestant that was on Forged In Fire today. The nicest couple ever. Because the task given to me turned out perfect and professional, Brian B hammered out a knife for me in a matter of a couple of hours. Was a cool day with awesome customers. Hey all: I'm replacing a bunch of tops at a hotel downtown which the owner wants to sell the old marble tops. A lot off them have etching damage which is not a big deal. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL marble. The size is 2cm 20"x26". Would make one helluva gorgeous floor or feature wall. They are asking $25 per or if you'd like all of them (250pcs) at $20. Again, not all materials are created equal even with the same manufacturer. I struggled to get it back, good thing is, it was accomplished with patience and perseverance.. Whew!

Attended another class for quartz surface polishing held by Arizona Tile and Quartz Renew with Jim Lang. One can never obtain to much information regarding this material. Learned a lot, then again I have leaned much from trial and error along with training with another master, Steve Anneker of Steve's pro polishing. Unfortunately, I should have took photos or video of the scratches created from a plumber with no care and scratched the marble around each fitting. The contractor asked if I could remove then without taking out the faucets.... I thought to myself... hmm... challenge... "hold my beer" hahaha had to start at 120 and go to 3000... by hand. Hopefully you'll all appreciate the work 😊

Another large crack along the front rail of UbaTuba granite. Had to take it the 1/2" corroded steel underneath. Needed to drop the sink in order to accomplish this task. Glued it back up and surface polished to factory finish. I love these complex tasks!

2nd part ammonoite

I was asked to perform a unique repair. This God only knows how many millions of years old this prehistoric spiney ammonoite made it to me to be patched back together. It was a pure honor and sheer fun to work on. I'll be posting before and after pics. Was a labor of patience and love!

Let's see if I can remove a 30" cooktop and fit a 36" top set stove into the 30" base cabinet with bump out. Keeping in mind this is controlled by existing cut out. Let's just say I prayed to the granite gods for success as I committed to the initial first cut.

Here in time lapse the repair of the Etching in this Caesar stone material.
