At Best Tours of Denver, we are always on a quest to continue to educate ourselves, on current trends, local history, as well as American history. Today we took a look back at a time that wasn’t so long ago, by visiting the History Colorado’s “90s Exhibit”. If you live in the metro area, this temporary exhibit is worth the visit. They had items on display that perfectly reflected the 1990s, including a recreation of a Blockbuster Video store, original costumes from 90s movies, and pop groups from the time period. Bill Clinton’s saxaphone was on display, as was an original jersey from John Elway. In addition, computers and video game consoles, from that period of time. The museum is also featuring an exhibition paying tribute to Denver’s former Chinatown.

The heat is ON at the Molly Brown House!
When the Brown's moved in in 1894, one of the modern features of the home were it's radiators which provided central heating to the home instead of those soot covered fire places. Those same radiators are still used to this day to help keep the house nice and cozy through the winter months. While the radiators are kept nice and polished, the main boiler hidden in the basement appears a bit less shiny. But it still works as well as it ever has to keep that Colorado chill at bay!
