Athens Marathon, the original historical course

As we, at Apostolos Greek Tours Inc. proudly celebrate our 30th anniversary of providing support packages to runners of the original historical marathon course, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude and respect to the incredible team that made this milestone possible.
Many of you have been with me for the entire 30 years, and others for over 20 years. I am honored to acknowledge:
- My personal assistant and longtime friend Jean Poll and Christiana Kalathakis.
- Our dedicated and professional guides: Maria, Katerina, and Eva.
- George Vasilakis (owner of the bus company) and his fantastic drivers.
- Patrick and Stephanos, who manage our additional race support stations, along with Mina and Kanela.
- Our DJ Andreas and the Greek folk dancers who entertain us during the special dinner after the marathon.
- The entire staff at Hotel Amarilia.
- Jeff Galloway and his lovely wife Barbara for being part of our program during our first 20 years, and Jeff’s Chief Training Officer, Chris Twiggs, for his contributions over several years.
- Vaso Samaras and Demetrios Kirkilis from the AHEPA team.
I also extend a heartfelt thank you to the organizing committee of the Athens Marathon The Authentic and their hardworking staff for 30 years of respectful collaboration.
There are so many others that have been very helpful in our 30-year journey. We cannot name you all. However, we have not forgotten you and we truly thank you.
Without your unwavering support, none of this would have been possible.
My deepest and most heartfelt thanks to all of you. You are all like a second family to me.
