Guild of Deviated Standards, “Guild of D.S.”, is a congruous event to Thunder in the Mountains. Our objective is to offer classes with an emphasis on more advanced seminars that focus on the physical and psychological aspects of the lifestyle. Limited beginner and intermediate educational opportunities will be offered. To ensure that we can continue to offer a space for like-minded individuals to

gather, we will become an invite-only event capping attendance at 600. We understand that this change may disappoint or even upset people, however, in speaking with many members of our local community, as well as presenters, and our event coordinator, the format change is a needed step for an event like this to survive and thrive. We truly hope to offer our attendees a great experience and look forward to seeing you in 2023!

I want to give a short heartfelt THANK YOU to all who joined us at G.o.D.S. 2024 this year. We are extended the early registration pricing for 2025. I apologize to all who tried to register last night, my very tired self accidently deactivated the link. More after much needed rest. We appreciate all of you and can't wait for next year!

Early pricing is $200. Normal membership will be $225 starting Thursday.

Our Story

Thunder in the Mountains is the premiere membership-only educational B**M event that has been running since 1997. We continue to offer the best presenters, the largest play space, and the greatest staff anywhere. Thunder begins with the commencement of our event at the hotel on Thursday night.

On Friday we start at noon with the Vendor Mart opening and classes, and party in the evening. On Saturday we offer a full day of classes, presentations, and demonstrations by the best teachers in the world today. Our classes range from rope bo***ge, to whipping, to sexual kink play, to Master/slave dynamics and Dominance/submission, to the psychological aspects of B**M and anything else you can think of. Classes stress not only the “how to’s” of B**M and kink, but also stress all safety aspects that must be considered before engaging in such play. On Saturday evening we may feature a program produced specifically for this audience in this type of venue. These programs have ranged from leather contests, to drag shows, to talent shows, to comedy shows by professional comedians. This program is followed by the third party in our space. On Sunday, we offer another full day of classes by our presenters, as well as naked yoga classes, boot blacking and massage stations, and our vendor space.

This is an event for all types of people into all types of sexual kink and catering to all experience levels. We have classes for newbies as well as long time players. We welcome everyone who feels he or she has something to learn or is curious about. Hope to see you there.
