Finally got in at Waco Surf. They had a cancelation and we got one hour in. The wave is perfect to learn but so short. Great place in the middle of nowhere. Krystal and I both got up but I think a weekend is needed to really get it right.

We did the Texas spring hike, caled Jacob's well. We went with thoughts of the first 2 pics. We saw the last 2. Ugh. I guess it's been dry for some time. There was little on the web saying it was dry. We will always keep you up to date on our travel page.

OHV on Phantom Canyon Road. This is a very scenic drive to Victor Colorado. I sped up to to get in all the views. Watch for old men in pick ups. They tend to hog the road.

Friday is wedding day at the Koln courthouse. We were told this is common practice here. We saw 3 couples in line for wedding vows.

Pre Rhine Cruise - Colmar/Eguinheim/Ferreta. Landed in Basel where 3 counties come together around city center- Switzerland, France, & Germany. Enjoyed our day prior to boarding the cruise in Colmar, Eguinheim, & Castle Ferreta (Geier family heritage castle).

Colmar is a fairytale city centre with small walk ways, quaint buildings and history. Could take a boat through the canals.

Eguinheim Strolled through the cobbled streets of Eguisheim, one of the most beautiful villages in France. We just happen to be there for a wine festival.

Climbed Freiburg Cathedral today. Over 300 steps to the top. Amazing someth built in the 1200s still stands strong.

When in Nashville...do a custom hat experience. My daughter booked a special session with the fabulous team at Rustler Hat Co. You start with the basic and work with a designer to make your dream hat. The hats, designers, and experience were the bomb!!!

1. Start with picking a hat color and size. So many choices.
2. Next lets put your hat on fire to get the distressed look, add some burn art or emblem, mold the top and your brim.
3. Last its time to decorate. Cloth, leather bands, feathers, jewel...oh my!!!
4. Now put your hat on and start showing off your masterpiece.

What to do in Iowa??? The Bridges of Madison County is what and much more. I was on a solo road trip in my rental Jeep through Iowa to Omaha so I google unique things to see. Covered bridges..why not. Turns out they are the Bridges from the book/movie. There were 19 of them originally. Only 5 remaining, 1 driveable. . I also happened upon John Wayne's birth home and museum. And well heck a dang winery 🍷🍷popped up in the country so of course I had to stop. Trip to Iowa. Big trucks, large strawberry and old fire towers. Dont forget Denver. Who said Iowa is boring.

We visited the denver chalk art festival today. https://denverchalk.art/ Krystal's Son in law entered with the only B&W chalk. His is first shown. Amazing detail in B&W for sure. We are waiting for the final results of placement. I added a few more photos. Some amazing 3D as well. This is chalk and asphalt only. Hope you enjoy.

Pueblo, CO...one of our happy places is at the lake. Instead of campimg we stayed downtown at an AirBnB to take in unique and cool spots. The reseviour was the highest we have seen it. Got lucky to stumble upon Neon Alley in downtown and dinner on the Riverwalk.
